fyi is back! Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 5, 2016. fyi has become a wonderful tradition and opportunity to create a memorable and testimony-building experiences for our youth. Our hope is to provide a meaningful and spiritual experience as we help them build a strong foundation of faith.
fyi is thrilled to announce that we will have two outstanding speakers who have honored us by agreeing to speak at our conference. We have promised them a large crowd, so we are hoping you will help us live up to that commitment.
Shay Meurer: Sister Meurer played NCAA Division 1 volleyball at Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina. She was named team captain, Most Valuable Player in 1994 and was selected to several all tournament teams. Shay Meurer is passionate about motivating and empowering others to achieve their highest potential. Chris Williams: Brother Williams shares his journey about forgiveness as he recalls the accident which took the lives of his wife, their unborn son, 11-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter. We are also requesting that each ward have one YM and one YW leader in attendance for the entire event. We would like the leaders to sit with their youth during the speaker presentations to eliminate unnecessary cell phone use.
Speakers: 3:00-5:30pm (12yrs and up)
Dinner & Dance: 5:30-10pm (14yrs and up)
Reminder: There will be a modesty closet. Please make sure all youth dress in church attire.
Clean-up: Two leaders from each stake are required to assist with clean-up.
